Game that's been played heavily for over a decade: There's no way it doesn't have forums equitable to Basilmarket, Sleepywood, and Southperry are to Maple.
Any good ones around? Blindly Googling, while sure to bring results, won't necessarily bring the best.

Starcraft doesn't have forums as big as Basil with tons of pomegranate going on because there isn't too much to talk about except general strategy, unit and race specific discussion, what you want to see in the sequel, and maybe fanart and random boards. The metagame is also pretty cut and dry at this point, as the game hasn't changed in years.

TeamLiquid has competitions all the time, tournaments, wikis to fill out, strategy and race discussion for SC1 and SC2, news about the latest happenings in the match fixing scandal, updates on all 12 teams and all the players, Win/Loss records of all players historically... Yeah. Imagine a sports site. Anything you see on a sports site, you're likely to see on TeamLiquid. I post there a bit and update the SC2 wiki when I can.
