Ok... I have this set-up:

1TB SATA drive C: as primary Windows 7 drive (also has the 100MB reserved system partition)
500GB SATA drive D: as an extra drive for storage
230GB RAID drive E:

I wanna install WinXP on drive E and be able to dual-boot XP and Win7. So... halp? What do I do?

Install Windows XP as normal on E, then install Drivers and shyt.

Go to this site and register and download the latest beta build.

Run it and there should be an option for the program to configure the dual boot for you.

Do I need to change the boot order?

There should be a way to select which drive to boot from at start up. I don't have any experience with that since i've never dual booted from 2 different drives, but if you can't do that then yes you'll have to change the boot order.

Just make two windows 7 login accounts, make sure you have maple installed on both of them, then you can login on both windows 7 accounts. No need to mess around with windows XP or anything.

lul. Got it all to work. Cookie goes to TKWizard. Tongue

And the reason for installing XP isn't just for Maple (if I wanted to dual-client, I have my laptop next to me), but for a few other games and programs that I have that simply won't work on Win 7, even with Compatibility.

I'm curious...what programs wouldn't work in Windows 7?

Btw, you said your last drive was a RAID drive...is that one drive? Because RAID requires two or more drives. o.o
