Question about permanent bans ... - IPunketOz - 2010-05-25 Hmmm my Drk iPunketOz got permanent banned this may 17th for hacking (No i wasn't hacking) However i sent a ticket to nexon (They havn't replied) i sent a ticket hoping they might unban me, maybe i got banned for having too many reports on me daily. I started a new char "iDarketOz" and it got Perma ban while i was at school, i didn't afk with my char anymore cuz i knew i'd get mass reports again, however, im wondering why did nexon ban my new character when i was offline? and i wasn't afking? I smega'd about my squad yesterday "BFPolice" and i told every1 to add me back to BL and today when i came back i was banned already. Is it because i became so famous in basilmarket? I know theres GMs checking basilmarket.com sometimes, i seen chars in basilmarket with a weird "Nexon" tag. If you try to type ipunketoz or bfpolice in basilmarket and post it won't let you, my name and bfpolice is already blocked from basil, well anyone knows why am i getting ban for hacking when im not hacking or talking about it at all besides alliance chat? If i got banned for mass reporting is there any way how i can get unbanned? PS: Sorry if this is the wrong section or i can't talk about this subject in southperry. Question about permanent bans ... - Kalovale - 2010-05-25 I'd suspect this to be the MWLB's doing. They have the power to oppose whichever player they want, and they share the view/thoughts of a common Mapler, unlike the O-so-holy Game Masters. Since, presumably, Nexon doesn't have a permanent punishment for R&R offenders (such as this site's Ban on Sight policy), I'm assuming whoever's banning you is doing it manually, and they have my thanks. Question about permanent bans ... - Eos - 2010-05-25 No one can answer you. We have no insight into why GMs do anything, what reasons or motivations Nexon may have and there is no way to appeal your ban beyond the Nexon ticketing system which will likely never be answered beyond them telling you they're always right and you have no right to know why. No ban occurs without some degree of proof. Even MWLB have to provide FRAPs video evidence of something having been done that a GM then reviews before actually doing anything and a good portion of the MWLB are inactive because they found they were being ignored and treated like an idiotic token-job rather than actually doing what they were signing up for. This is being closed before it becames an infraction fest of accusations and drama. |
