Dark Knights and Hp Washing - Pancake - 2010-05-19 Hp washing is new thing to me, so i made few questions about it. I like to know how many ap reset scrolls i need purchase to gain 30k hp with hyper body? How much MP I'll burn off and how much i need dress INT gear in every lvl up? All of those hp/mp formulas are allowed to tell me. And finally i'm really sorry about my bad spelling. :b Dark Knights and Hp Washing - Locked - 2010-05-19 I never really understood why a Dark Knight would need to wash. Anyway. Min MP Formula for Sperman class = 4 X level + 156 This should help. Dark Knights and Hp Washing - Stereo - 2010-05-19 What you need to know: - you lose 4 MP every wash - you gain 50-54 HP every point spent in HP - you gain 64-68 HP every levelup - you gain 1 MP on levelup for every 10 int worth of gear - minimum base MP is 156 + 4*level Procedure: 1) find difference between current base HP and desired base HP, including however many levelups 2) divide by average gain (or minimum gain, if you want a worst case amount) to get number of AP resets required 3) multiply by mp loss to get the total mp loss 4) add to the minimum base MP to get the target MP after however many levelups 5) subtract your current MP from that 6) divide by the number of levels you're gaining to determine MP gain per level 7) subtract 5 for the normal gain per level 8) multiply by 10 to get the amount of int you need from equipment So, if you want someone else to do the work for you, you need to include - current level - target level - current hp (without gear or HB) - target hp (without gear or HB) - current mp Dark Knights and Hp Washing - Kalovale - 2010-05-19 Locked Wrote:I never really understood why a Dark Knight would need to wash. Back when Zerk30 was a mere 40% and 4th job was barely out for a month, it was tempting. I was happy when Zerk was raised to 45%, but with 50%, nowadays washing is an overkill. To help with HP washing concept: take out the unnecessary amounts of MP and increase your HP with a ratio of 1AP for 1AP. For a warrior, 1 AP raises your MP by 4 units yet the same amount raises your HP by 50~54 units, as stated above. Not only do you not use the extra MP but it's also a fair bargain. To make washing possible, keep in mind that there is a minimum amount of MP which you cannot go under (take AP out of). This limit is unique for every classes, for warriors, it's 156 + 4*lvl. Now then that gives a normal lvl 140 Drk about (5 + 125 + 140*5 - (4*140 + 156))/4, or 28, washes (1400-1512 HP gain). To wash more, you need to maximize the MP gain from the formula: MP/level: 4-6 + (Total INT/10) and the only thing you can tamper with is the Total INT variable. Dark Knights and Hp Washing - mugsly - 2010-05-19 nvm, i forgot lolhb Dark Knights and Hp Washing - Kim41 - 2010-05-19 Don't forget about the new % hp increasing equips they have in KMS that we should hopefully be getting in a few months or so. The new chaos zhelm and ht pendant both increase 10% hp each and there's 10% hp increase earrings too. The ht pendant might be really difficult to obtain, but the zhelm and earrings shouldn't be too hard to get. Those will save a ton of money on ap resets.

With 20% HP gear it'd only need 50 washes. With 30% HP gear, 27 washes would be enough, and I'd have 27000 hp without washing. In fact, with 190 washes I would have 18840 base HP at level 142 already. Dark Knights and Hp Washing - dpeterlin - 2010-05-22 Since all the technicals are out of the way. Took me 140 to get 30k w/hb at level 170 including all of our hp gear (mon, medal, etc) Dark Knights and Hp Washing - WillDaSnail - 2010-05-22 Pancake Wrote:Hp washing is new thing to me, so i made few questions about it. It really depends on how much HP you want to reach by a certain level. For 30K HP with HB by like the 14x/15x level range, you'll need to wash quite a bit, like around 150+? However, if you want to hit 30K with HB by level 200, you'll need less washes - about 110-120 washes or so? Some basic formulas: You lose 4 MP every time you take a point out of MP to put into STR. Translation: Every 40 INT you have on you (through INT equips), you get to wash one point. (10 INT = 1 MP) You gain 50-55 HP per AP point placed into HP (On a side note, you gain 64-67 HP by leveling up) The other formulas: Well the other people covered it. =\ However, the benefits of washing is wide and far. You'll find many uses with your "bigger-than-life" HP.
