Goddess's Pet+Area boss question. - Darkfaith - 2008-08-19
1. I'v finish this quest (Goddess's Pet) i killed Elliza, but it still in progress. is this kind of a glich or what?
2. When i want to kill ZMM, i need to kill the mushrooms, but when i come to fight in Manu or King Clang, i need to kill the monster in the map to summon them or i can just w8?

1. Could be a bug.
2. If Mano/King Clang is suppose to spawn, you might kill a monster first.

1.) might be a bug or Nexon isn't finished putting in the quest data..
2.) king clang just spawns, you don't have to kill any monster for it to spawn.
Edit: And at ZMM you don't kill monsters for it to spawn, ZMM just spawns every 45/1hour

in my experience this isn't the case with area bosses (except for snowman). The reason for this is because their spawn is completely controlled server side. I just sat down and waited for the blue message to come up for both Eliza and Mano and this worked. Eliza I was definitely alone, but Mano had people coming through a lot so I'm not sure.

Actually I'm pretty sure i've come into ZMM maps with people waiting for it without killing monsters, and it spawned as soon as i killed anything.

1. I think its a glitch...
2. Yes you're supposed to kill the mobs to get the area boss spawning as you do with mm and zmm.

That happens because the limit for monsters on that map hadn't reached the max. Why more monsters don't spawn is a mystery to me.

Well, something strange happened with my Ifrit quest, I don't know if it's supposed to show up in the quest log after you finish the ID quest, but then after I completed it it stayed in my quest in progress page but said it ended.
