Problem With Login. - Omi - 2008-08-18

Since the last patch, I've been having this problem that whenever I try to log in the letters do not show up on the login square, or neither on password.

There is no way I can type on those to areas, but whenever I copy paste my password and Login it does work.

Does anyone have a problem similar to this, where you cant type your login and pass?

Does anyone know how to fix it?

I tried closing and loading maple a few times but the problem is still going.

Thanks in advance.

Have you waited a while? It usually takes about a minute.

Yeah, I waited for a while, and it still does not work. Im getting kinda tired of having to tab in and out to copy paste my password and login. :/ ..

Oh, I apologize then; don't know another way to help you.

Sorry. :X

You could always save your login ID and copy your password before you start up Maple. Try deleting gameguard and letting it reinstall.

Clear your registry?

That is a really bad idea.

I sometimes get that, but it sorts "unfreezes" and everything I type shows up again after I type some random stuff and tab in and out :S

Explain?

Clearing your registry can actually clear up problems as well as speeding up your PC.

Registry clean up tools only scan and outputs everything it THINKS it's wrong. Then you choose the items to clean up. A lot of the stuff scanned make no sense, and a lot of the tools gives a notice...something like "WARNING, DELETE THESE ENTIRES AT YOUR OWN RISK".

You could however...back up your registry and run a cleaner though it :S if something goes wrong just go back to the backup.
