Hell yes! Saw this the other day and wanted to share it with you guys since I know it's got a bit of a following here. I thought it'd happen eventually, but it's finally here!

So: who do you think would be a good choice for a seiyuu for Keima?

I, and a lot of the fandom, thinks that Jun Fukuyama is the best person suited to play Keima, HANDS DOWN. This seems to be a given- given a lot of his other famous roles and Keima fitting perfectly among them, and I can see Jun Fukuyama playing an excellent Keima. Hell, I've seen a bit of artwork with Keima and Elsee dressed as Lelouche and C.C.

My next best choice is Hiroshi Kamiya, if anyone else. His performance in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei makes me think he'd be suited for the kind of over-the-top and overdramatic lines that Keima says.

I imagine people would shi't a ragestorm if it were anyone BUT Jun Fukuyama; but I'd still take Hiroshi Kamiya any day.

In other news about this series, Wakiki Tamiki is taking a delaying the next chapter by a week because of work on the anime.

Meanwhile, enjoy this fanmade opening for The World God Only Knows featuring JIBUN WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'ing.

This is great, because I haven't finished this yet. Plus, 100 chapters of manga is roughly what, 30-50 episodes normally? Looking forward to this!

Not even at 100 yet. Actually, I'm expecting this to only be a 26 or 39 episode run or so. I imagine that they leave in enough material for the author to "catch up" to be a good deal ahead so that they don't have to wait for new content to fill the next season to follow up a year after the first one- unless they want to take a totally different turn than from where the series is so that it's conclusive because of the fact that the series is still healthy and running and not even nearing the ending (See: Soul Eater and FMA) OR that they add in new content exclusive to the anime. A good example is Hayate the Combat Butler. We're at Chapter 266 right now, but they've only animated up to the late chapter 140's thanks to adding in anime-exclusive content in the first season.

Wat? Just like a week ago I saw a troll thread about an anime adaptation of it (and it genuinely was a troll thread) but I come to see that it's actually getting done.

AND I'm not the only one who read all of Keima's lines in Itoshiki's voice?

If you get a clearer scan on the magazine image I can do a rough translations for you. But it seems like it's just the generic "WE'RE GETTING ANIMATED WOOOOO" message from the first panel and whatever bits are clear enough for me to make out in the 2nd one.

I don't see anything about what studio is doing it in either of the images though, but that's not too surprising. Guess I'll have to just guess and be left in suspense. Season 2? Anime exclusive content? Story line that branches from the original? Just knowing what studio is doing it will give me a pretty good idea of what they'll do with the series.

I'd love hearing Tomokazu Sugita voice Keima. Fukuyama's voice is too deep for Keima - it'd make him sound just like Lelouch, and then the terrible 'comparisons' would begin. (Oh Jesus. Images of idiots talking about Sora Kake Girl are coming back to me...)

Though I actually don't like this news. I don't like arc-based anime in general, since the endings are either sudden stops (To Aru Majutsu no Index) or some kind of climax is forced out and everybody complains (your standard "monster of the week" mahou shoujo or shounen action). TWGOK's arcs are especially separated, and I can just imagine the ending becoming a huge trainwreck.
