KEY's 4th anime: "AngelBeats!" - Khoi - 2010-04-03
Just watched it today. Totally, not the typical KEY anime. I watched it expecting the traditional clumsy girl, s 18-year old male, and perhaps school-related setting. It's nothing like what I would have expected, the first 2 minutes of the anime threw me off completely too, to my own amazement. I'm looking forward to this anime, since it doesn't seem to follow the typical KEY anime path, so far. There's actually battles/fighting, I mean.. bullets.. shooting at a girl? Really? This is awesome.

PS ; If you've seen it, what were your reactions? Because I expected something like the first 3 anime: Kanon, AIR, and Clannad. It seems to be completely different from the 1st three.

Not that I've ever watched much Key stuff. Only a few episodes of Clannad.
I watched it. I'll keep watching it I guess. It seems like it could easily fall into cliche Key at any time though. Then I'll probably stop.

I hate how Yuri reminds me of Haruhi, not just in appearance. And the animation quality. Can't wait to see some more Hanazawa Kana, Kitamura Eri, Asumi Kana, and Katou Emiri action. That's about it.

I've never seen Haruhi, though I know who she is. At first glimpse, I did notice that Yuri reminded me a bit about Haruhi. Pretty strange. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who perceived it like that.
