So I'm into older animes again. - Locked - 2010-03-30 I recently finished watching Cardcaptor Sakura, after the whole memory of it being stuck in my head came back alive. I came up with the idea of watching old animes that I used to enjoy, and I told myself that after CCS I should watch Rorouni Kenshin since I haven't in a while. I opened up the first episode today and I realised how feminine his voice sounded like and it's such a turn off for being a manslayer. So my question to you Southperry is, should I watch the English Dub or the original version? So I'm into older animes again. - Justin - 2010-03-30 I'd go for original. I've been watching some pretty old anime myself lately. Gundam Wing, S-Cry-Ed, stuff like that. Japanese voice-overs are almost ALWAYS > English dubs. So I'm into older animes again. - Super_cyp - 2010-03-30 I find that Kaoru's voice and alot of the other characters voices don't match very well. Kenshin's I don't mind though I miss the 'Oro' in it though. I stick to the english dubs usually, unless an anime isn't finished then I end up hunting down the english subtitled version and watch that. If the japanese version isn't agreeing with you try the english one, and see how you fair.. So I'm into older animes again. - Hiepocrite - 2010-03-31 . |
