http://www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure/attacks/comp/statmods.htm#burns

Can't find any other sites that talk about this stuff beyond "oh burn cut attack". This site deals with Gen 1, a bit out dated. Anyone know more on this topic?

Basically burn cuts attack by 75% and paralysis cuts speed by 75% (I'm pretty sure it's those numbers...)

Status Things - Dusk - 2010-03-30

Burn halves.

Bulbapedia has current information on all of that.

Ah, burn was half, paralyze was 75% X_X.

I should have been more clear.
Pokemon has 200 Attack. Burn'd, now it has 100. Uses Swords dance. 200 or 400? Site says it has 400, for Gen 1. Hit by growl after swords dance? Site says it now has 150.
Does Rest cure the speed reduction from Paralysis?

Status Things - Dual - 2010-03-30

Rest cures any status.

I know it cures paralysis, burn, etc, but does it reset stat modifiers?

Everything's multiplied. Those quirks that it talks about are just Gen 1 glitches. Burn + Swords Dance = 1/2 * 2 = normal

No.
It also does not cure confusion, attraction, or any other pseudo-status.

Rest cures the modifiers that come with the status, but not any that were inflicted by other moves like SD or scary face or something.

So if a burned pokemon uses SD and then rest, it'll get rid of the 50% attack penalty from Burn but not the +2 from SD, resulting in 200% attack.
