I thought I had seen someone post that the PP event became permanent in KMS. If it is should I save the PPs I have now? If not, what should I use my 81+ (still lvling_) PPs on?

Something like that. Also, the event duration is explicitly stated to be 03/03/10 - 03/30/10 at http://maplestory.nexon.net/WZ.ASPX?PART=/Event/View&boardNo=201&contentNo=006Fp&pageIndex=1. Unless Nexon makes a notice saying it is extended/permanenet.

As for what to get with those 81+ Pitches... if you can rush it, and it is beneficial to you, try for Wild Wolf Bandana ~~because then you can show it off to everybody who did not/could not get it~~. Otherwise get a Chaos Scroll to use or sell for money, depending on what you need. If you are a chair collector, go get the chair and get some eggs since there is very little options after getting the chair. If you love risk, then get Clean Slate and/or mass eggs and hope for something good.
