That's when you create a mule, try for prize, and if you get prize, transfer to main, delete mule character, ???, Profit (Can be repeated as necessary)! xP

Spadow briefly mentioned this event a while ago. Apparently these boxes gave out Timeless weapons. AND they announced the people who obtained them. I doubt they would hand them out here in GMS though, if only because Spadow's description of the event implies that there were less boxes to go around.

Uhm, actually its different.

We had the Evan Paper Boxes, but the chairs/timeless weapons came from another event, the 2PM event. If you were logged in from 2PM to 2:30, you would get a box where you could get some stuff, different from the daily Evan box quest.
