There is no gMS-like pitch hack in eMS possible.

I think a lot of us would recommend that you start over your Pirate at this point, what with the way this event worked in GMS. 17 notes is very significant, especially since you need to level from 1-60 to get the Chaos Scroll, and 1-80+ to get the Wild Wolf Bandana. Unless you're only aiming for the chair.
