Having a bit of trouble with the Jack Barricade quest - zeplinfan911 - 2008-08-15
I guess my question to start is do I need the "collect 30 elpam magnets" quest done before I can progress in it? I talked to jack and apparently I need to find someone, I was told John but when I went to him he has no quest available. Also I was told I should have gotten a map from Jack but I don't have one.
help please?

Yeah, you do need the Magnet quest done, and also the Time fragment quest that comes after it. It's all from Elpam Gorlab on the Affluent tower in NLC.

You need to complete 2 of Lukan's quests (and get the Crimsonwood Keystone) before you can complete Jack's first quest. I think this is the one you mean.
You need to complete Taggrin's quest (50 Phantom Seeds) before you can get another of Jack's quests.
You need to complete Lost!/ReVersal (Elpam Magnets, stuff) before you can get some of the new quests too.

technically, yes, but a later one involves killing Guardians. I dunno the lvl requirement, but I think it was under 120. Many of the monsters on CWM are strong enough so that maybe you should hold off on them until at least 10x.
