Perfect Pitch Mule Training (Cleric) - SolicShooter - 2010-03-19
Hey guys
.I'm a 57 Cleric 50% and I'm planning on using my very first 2xexp card, my 6 hunters lucks, my 30 minute solo 2xexp cast and I'll probably be able to get another 30 minutes of 2xexp. This makes it 8xexp for 2 hours and 2 hours of 4xexp tomorrow at the event. I'm planning to train at mp3 for the first few lvl's and then my first question to you will be what level I should go to twisted jesters, also which map: Toy room or chimney?.
These are my skills, stats, equips:
20 Magic claw
20 Magic guard
30 Heal
20 MP eater
20 Teleport
12 invincible
(planning on maxing invincible, then maxing bless, then 11 holy arrow)
293 + 24 int (317)
4 + 5 luk (9)
Lukless and staying lukless and not worrying about it untill I reached my goal which is wild wolf bandana at 85.
Magic: 415
HP: 1048
MP 3896
Speed: 113%
Jump: 105%
Equips:
Marbas hat
Dep star
Mushroom kingdom glove
Orange whitebottom boots (speed +3, jump +5)
Junior adventurer medal
Stolen fence (clean)
Single earring (3 int, 6 magic attack)
Cape of warmness
Clean bathrobe
66 magic attack, 4 int nocturnal staff (4+ 60%'s)
I may get a white belt and scroll it twice 100% for int and maybe the pypq medal (iirc stats were better) for tomorrow. I've a 4 int 8 magic attack purple gaia cape ready for lvl 65 and a 87 magic attack, 5 int maple wisdom staff for lvl 64.
I'm currently getting roughly 50%/hr at mp3.
If I make priest, will I able to level up too lvl 71 and keep my skill points? Any consequence at all to this? I have to do the 8xexp last since I live in europe and I'd like to sleep at 1 am when the event ends. And wasting 8xexp is more of a waste then using a chaos scroll on a razor imo.
Summary: 1) How much levels will I get as a Cleric on 2 hours of 8xexp and 2 hours of 4xexp.
2) At what level should I go to twisted jesters as a Cleric.
3) Will I be able to use skill points I get after lvling up without gettting my job advencement first at lvl 70.
PS: I will use 20+ magic attack potions from nlc and I will share a mp3 map with a maximum of 2 other persons (not a preferance) if more will come I've a 120 blaze wiz with meteor stationed there. I'll interrupt 5 mins of 4xexp/8xexp to get them away if I'll get ksed. Oww and I'm in Demethos.
I'm looking forward to what anwsers Southperry may give me :3.

If you are able to, get to Singapore, and the ghost ship with the blue guys, there is a room in the ship with only them. I was there and leveling every 2 hours or so on 1x, theres a spot on the stair where they mostly spawn and walk towards where you can heal without being hit. I would also suggest training without MG on, it really cuts back on the MP pots.
If you can MP3 solo, it would be way more worth it, or take the upper two platforms, if you are able to hit ~80%.
Leveling past 70 i think, you end up losing the skill points.

I just feel it may be quite hard to find a channel at either MP3 or Twisted Jesters during the event as both are training spots for several classes at that level range.
Also, remember that Family 2x does not stack with hunter's luck OR even 2x. The way to get 8x (if it isn't patched tomorrow) is to use hunter's luck + 2x card + 2x event.
About you skill points, you will be able to advance to 3rd job no problem even passing level 70. Just remember to save the points you get after level 70 and only use the ones from 2nd job.

1) It depends on how fast you train.
2) TJs have a horrible HP:EXP ratio. You're wasting your time if you plan to solo there.
3) Yes, but make sure you save any skill points after 70 if you plan on advancing after.

Hmm thanks for the fast anwsers guys ^^. I just got that white belt and I'm thinking I should just do the 4 hours of mp3 and hope my blaze wiz and a little good will will protect me there. For the record Twisted jesters is completely empty in Demethos and I can already 100% hit mp3 mobs since 52 or so and I've soloed there since 48 (cpq got boring). Another question from me would be: where should I train after mp3 at like 75+ and how does shining ray lvl 1 compare to holy weak, holy neutral and holy resistant mobs to heal. I'm planning on going 1 shining ray, 3 dispell and then max HS.

First part made little sense a-@, it does not stack to with family REP 2x, but it does for 2x event and 2x cards.

Well I made 66, met my first dc hacker and a lot of ksers. Either way I'd still like to get this question anwsered: When does Shining Ray start to outdamage heal on holy weak, neutral and holy resistant? And what would be reccomended as a training spot after mp3 untill about 75 or so? Probably solo since trying to find a party sucks in demethos. If I go solo only would it be a good idea to Max shining ray first, since I only care about getting to lvl 85 as fast as possible for the wild wolf bandana? Last but not least, does shining ray's damage spread out like heals damage does?

Due to Heal having the weirdest formula ever. It's hard to specify a level at which it gets outdamaged without plugging your stats into a calculator.
Heal gets a noticeable boost from LUK and INT (unlike other magic attacks) but also from magic. It has multiplier that makes it deal less damage per monster when you hit bigger mobs (like aran attacks). So I'd advise looking at the formula at the pinned thread and inputting your own numbers.
