Why do people assume that if it doesn't decay quickly it has NO nutritional value and is a toxin for our children? Is there actual chemistry to back that up, or just BS assumptions made by parents with nothing better to be mad about?

You are right about that, there is a way to preserve meat by just drying it like beef jerky or pork grinds and it will never go bad. I'm no food expert so I can't really say whether this is healthy or not

Not decaying can be linked to a lack of nutritional value, but they aren't directly related.
