What is the formula for MP Gain when putting an AP point into MP?

Like for the style of Hp washing. This is for non-warrior/non-magician classes please.

And I had checked the Formula Compilation/Hp and Mp Guide but I couldn't find it.

No formula really...for any thief when you put an AP into MP, you gain from 10-12 MP.

Not if you wear int gear.

I thought int gear doesn't affect MP from AP put in, just MP from level?

If otherwise, that's news to me.

Edit: And the reason I say that is because HP washing could be abused if that was possible. Put on int gear, put points into MP, take off int gear, and you can remove less MP than you put in, allowing you to gain MP in an easy way instead of just int gears on level-ups.

I never understood how it works either. The guide listed is your job base + int/15. (ex. warrior = 4~6 + int/15) Int in this case is total int. My experience is that it has been somewhere around int/14 instead.

And sincarf, you don't have to remove int gear to remove from mp. It just takes away a static constant + max mp increase level. And in a way this 'abuse' is known and practiced widely.

[job base range] + floor(int * 0.075)

Thank you so much. You helped a lot.

And thanks to all the other posters for showing interest and sharing knowledge.

Edit: Oh. It seems that getting to the next ten spot doesn't affect AP points. For example...When leveling leveling with 69 int and 70 int is 1 point of MP. Oh well I guess I learned something too.

Thanks, that's the number I've been looking for all along too.
