All is right in the world. Victory for Up and the Jew Hunter, and Avatar only won what it should have in the technical categories.

why should it have won for anything else anyways? the plot wasnt ground-breaking, the technology used to make it was.

The only argument for it that I heard was something along the lines of the Best Picture representing the year's best embodiment of the filmmaking art moving forward or something like that. Therefore Avatar should win because it was a game-changer in how films are made and viewed. Some pomegranate like that.
