How come the elemental wands/staves not only have no description for their element (you have to go based on the color of the head), no unique name at all, AND also do NOT give the element damage bonus?

Gach one and find out if it does or doesn't? You can't say they don't work if you don't have one, and i highly doubt someone magically gached up an elemental weapon hours after it's release.

The original JMS ones also do not have a description on them. I believe the only version that has one is MSEA. Maybe you attacked a monster that was resistant to your element?

I saw one of them in the FM in Broa for 1,000,000,000 mesos. Not sure if it was a mage though.

As I said, I already have one. It's an ice wand (obvious from the color).
They are just regular "magic attack" wands.
I even let my f/p friend borrow it to see if he would get the negative bonus (or any benefit). The weapon functioned like a very expensive pretty luckless weapon.
And I was attacking neutral monsters. You don't need (or you're not SUPPOSED) to attack monsters WEAK to elements to get the weapon bonus >_>

That's the one I bought. Didn't pay 1b for it though; that's the one you saw in FM 8 or 9 right?

I also heard that theres a glitch that makes it so that it doesn't work with comp, so if you were testing it with comp, then you won't see anything.
And here's my guess. There'll probably be a quest that makes the elemental wand work. IDK though, that's just a guess...
