Well, it's about that time (or past time for many colleges) for college decisions to begin rolling in, and it's always fun to see who got into what college.
For Chemical Engineering:
Columbia University - Waiting.
Carnegie Mellon - Waiting.
Virginia Tech - Accepted!
Syracuse University - Accepted!
Rochester Institute of Technology - Accepted!
Penn State University Park - Accepted!
Northeastern University - Waiting.
Bucknell University - Waiting.

I got into my high school's special political science program. I read scientific articles in my spare time. William and Mary / Georgetown were targeted specifically for their excellent political science department. Rutgers New Brunswick, Franklin and Marshall, and Allegheny had robust labs so I could get a research spot and start doing experiments before I graduated. I just wanted to maximize the opportunities within each school.

Yes, it's literally across a huge bridge from my town.
I have to cross the river by car on a bridge to get to Rochester. xd
