The sad part about is that when the "new content" hype is over, hardly anyone will play at these area's and they rot-away in about 2~3 weeks time from launch, making the area's look more like a singleplayer game then a good, popular and densely populated MMORPG, something Maplestory was known for years ago, and was one of the reasons many people started playing it...

The only bad thing I see about this is the fact that the items are too hard to acquire from normal gameplay, but for the rest there's nothing wrong with the whole concept really. The watch and such should just have a higher drop rate really (and I found the watch on 2 characters, both with only 5 minutes of hunting, so it's not that bad anyway). Paying NX as an alternative to doing a certain type or quest (or with mastery books) isn't bad as you still have the choice to do it the normal way.
But yes, having places where you run into more then one person every other hour would be nice. The only places where I see people are in town and on major training spots, and since most of the boat rides have been replaced by Hak-like transport you rarely ever see people there too. Although with the insane amount of worlds we have compared to the amount of players it shouldn't be much of a surprise.
