Okay, so here's the deal.
Due to the server change, IRC's old quote bot, Mahoro, is gone. However, some of us want to recover our old quotes so that we have them when we get a quote bot again. However, we don't have the old quote.txt and I can only refer to my logs.

This is every quote that's been quoted under irc.southperry.net in my logs (in no relevant order). The thing is, this contains some deleted quotes and lots of crappy quotes. Therefore, I'm turning to the community to vote in which quotes to keep.
If you want to propose quotes, just say the line number of the quotes you want and I'll add them to The List.
In 48 hours, this ends and I will dump all the selected quotes into a final quotes.txt. At that point, if there are others that weren't included and you want to add them, feel free to, but you'll have to go on IRC and do it yourself.

Removed ones that were either not funny or too inside/vauge for most people to enjoy. The idea of a purge should be to remove the ones that aren't really funny.

A lot of those were purely inside jokes. Just because one person doesn't enjoy them, doesn't mean another won't.
Although, I must admit, I could get rid of a few of those. I'll look back through later and get rid of some of the ones that aren't that funny.

The problem is, these quotes get spammed on IRC all day every day. If they're mostly inside jokes then it scares away new users, because it's hard to fit in with a tight-knit group

While I agree to an extent, I'm not removing any that have been vouched for. It means someone wants it and having subjectively "bad" quotes doesn't hurt.
