Kenta's Advice for perma pets - LittlePrincess - 2010-02-16
I bought 3 perma pets on 3 different accounts, white tiger, yetti, and kino. I play the account with the white tiger the most and I've been checking the Quest log to see if Kenta's Advice is repeatable yet (which it has not been).
However, recently (last weekend), I was playing the account with the Yetti and I wondered if the quest was would work with Yetti (maybe nexon hates tigers). So I checked since I was going to El Nath to take the 3rd job test and it was available. :f6:
After I completed the quest Kenta's Advice with the perma yetti (the quest worked and the Yetti adjusted to my speed) I noticed that the quest was not available to repeat. So I wondered if perhaps I could do the quest the first time but it just fails when it should be repeatable. So I logged into one girl on my white tiger account who had not done Kenta's Advice. The quest was not available when only the perma white tiger was out but it was available as a new quest when the non-perma panda was out.
Then I wanted to know if the Yetti was special (nxprose liked yetti so maybe), to test this theory I logged into my account with the perma Kino and checked. Kenta's Advice was available. :f6:
Now the girl who tested the white tiger had done other pet quests (get the ball of yarn for Franzy, and multipet) but the two who tested the Kino and the Yetti had never done a pet quest before. The accounts that got the Kino and the Yetti had not used pets before perma pets while the account that got the white tiger did and so those people had done the pet quests. This was fascinating because I had thought that the ball of yarn for Franzy was a pre-req to this quest, but clearly it's not now or I was dreaming all this time.
So my question is, if I make a character lvl 30 who has never done a pet quest on the account with the white tiger, will I be able to do Kenta's Advice?
(I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be quest or cash shop, move as needed.)

This is probably old news, but I just logged back on after an extended break and decided to go and check Kenta's Advice. It worked on my perma Kino with my main, which had completed the pet quests before.
