Nexon wants the money from owls, they don't really care about inflation =/

Then they don't care about the game being in a state where newcomers have too much of a hard time. Cause they obviously they couldn't make money, and that's what they want!

FYI, the last thing people would buy is the damn Owls.

YAY! I found it

What doesnt make sense to me is this. In Broa, dark scrolls are EVERYWHERE. 95% of the shops (and thats not a made up number, I go through entire FM once every day or two) are packed to the gills with dark scrolls, yet their prices are steadily rising.

Economics teaches supply and demand. More supply should equal competitive prices. Just look at gas. Everywhere around me is 4.10 a gallon. One gas station down the street made their gas 3.95, and everyone and their mother went there for gas.

So whats up with Broa's economy? Everything is on the rise. Stars, scrolls, equips.

Equips. That irks me too. I bought my 47 atk Dark Rab for about 15mil a few months ago, Im reselling it for 25mil. Of course, this benefits me, but brings up an interesting point. With more scrolls in the market, and obviously more scrolling going on, godly items are popping up everywhere. Yet prices of scrolled equips have clearly gone up. Wouldn't the increase of well scrolled items even out their price? Not drive it up the wall?

I have a slight theory, and I want people's opinion on it. And the thing causing the economy to go to hell: Stupidity and Wealth

Think about it. Some idiot places a scroll in his shop for an outrageous price. Lets say 5mil above the standard market price. Some lazy ass with countless billions sees the scroll, is too lazy to find it cheaper, and buys it. Then everyone that visits the shop sees that the scroll was bought at that price.

OMG! I HAVE THAT SCROLL TOO! They run and change the prices. Now everyone is selling it at that price. Pretty soon, no one is selling it at the old price, and people get fed up searching for one at that low price, swallow hard and buy it anyway. Congratz: One idiot, and one wealthy idiot have successfully altered the FM

Rinse, repeat

That's only one theory. The other could be that the economy is finally feeling the hit from the PG hacker meso inflation, which in turn leads to my stupidity/wealth idea.

Another example. Tobis. These were 500k~600k for the longest time, as long as I can remember. Within the last two weeks, the price sky-rocketed to 1.2mil.... And now the FM is packed with people selling Tobi, trying to make cash. This goes back to supply and demand. The new price has shown us that in shop after shop (in accompny with dark scrolls) there is plenty of Tobi in Broa....so how is the price hiking up? Same for steely. Rooms 1~6, you will find at least 2 or 3 shops packed with Steely. Certainly no shortage, why the price hike? (up 1.7mil from a few weeks ago)

Hey guess what. That'd also make it easier to inflate horde items. Hell I'd do that if it came out.

I would too but it probably wouldn't happen

I hope the inflation continiue , inflation = more profit , when things are worth-less you need to merchant alot more items to make good profit that means I lose money..yes when it comes to the market I care only for my own pocket, hence inflation is a good thing....If 15 atk gloves jump to 1b each i'd be a happy camper...

More inflation = Less new players...

Overtime some players quit, and if there is no newcomers, then the game population slowly decreases.

Think of where the mesos go :x

On top of the idea of buying out the whole FM. Players who do not know the prices of items, can search the FM with this, and then set the price, instead of setting it to like 10m when it's worth 50m.

EDIT:

On a side note, finding cons is good, to try to fix them, which is kind of why I posted this in a sense.

Well they could raise the price of owl, then make it usable in a time period or usable more times than once.

No more inflation = less value= same worth.Glitter
I know it is hard for most people to understand basic economic (notaflame) but it really works taht way.
If MS had ups-and-downs (it KINDA does) you would sell in the downs and buy in the ups.
...
Monopolies kinda really are what screw MS econ.
