Also lol @ cleaning up all the snow. NYC's definition of cleaning up snow is pushing it up on the sidewalks to right off the intersections. You have to climb a mountain of snow to cross the street!

If I was still in high school, I would have seriously loved a week off. Hell, I'm surprised we got a snow day here in NYC. Last time a snow day was declared here was when I was like ine 2nd grade or some crap. Oh well, at least my little brother got to experience the first day off due to snow in his life today.

Those days... Everyone is tense, wet and pissed off because there is melting snow in their boots. And the stations are all overcrowded because it takes a million years for the train to get there. I always feel bad for the people that can't fit after the train gets there. The people on the train know those left behind have to wait even longer for the next one. The people on the station feel dread. The world's most silent mass funeral.
