What is this? - Goddamn Kids - 2010-02-07 ![]() I'm just trying to get on MS so I can MTS some crap, but this is preventing everything. I am the administrator of the PC, so it can't be "permissions." I also re-installed twice. Solution? What is this? - Horusmaster - 2010-02-07 add maplestory as an exception to your anti virus. What is this? - BDRyan - 2010-02-07 Unfortunately, the problem may very well be related to permissions. Since I really don't know if you've done this or not, I would disable UAC (User Account Control) on Vista/7 and I would also check that file's properties and check its Security tab (if it's there, it should be afaik), and ensure you have proper permissions. Also make sure that in Properties, that the file "isn't blocked" (rare, but it can happen, and can cause that issue). What is this? - TugboatWilly - 2010-02-07 disabling uac is a silly idea. it hurts nothing (in windows 7 at least but i agree it was annoying as hell in vista). right click maplestory.exe and see if there's anything about it being blocked or something. seems to have something to do with your permissions.
