I would like to play, but I hate tribute gameplay. Me and my friends played like they did on duelist island.

I've played all the GBA games and still do from time to time. Still got my deck and if I ran into some nerds on campus or anywhere, I'll duel 'em too.

I do now and again with my BF, he ended up being 5th in Aus or something with his Gadget Deck. Amusingly enough I've beat him a good 4 times o_O He now has a lightsworn deck, but no time to play. He had a club thingy function he would go to on tuesdays, but can't do that anymore. I find it fun and certainly a time killer.

I've liked playing Yu-gi-oh since I was 13 but never had anyone to play with, I got my BF to help me build a deck last year, and now I have an ok deck to work with Big Grin I'm 19 now so eh.

My friends made me start playing again a few weeks back. Then a found a few people on campus that play, and are trying to get me into their "group". I'm 18

Do you still play yu-gi-oh? - Berzerk - 2010-01-31

I played. I owned like 80 gajillion cards too. I stopped playing after they made all the more rare cards commons so everyone can use them. Pissed me off how everyone had the same deck. If Jinzo is a secret rare, keep it a fucking secret rare and cry about how you don't have it and I do.

Right now, I'll play if my friend wants to duel. Other then that I'll look at my cards every once and a while just for a good ol' lulz.

Oh, I'm 17. I played like, 12-15?

I loved it until they started limiting and restricting all the old cards.

Pretty much this, except I don't know what TP1 and TP3 are. Aside from that, this.

Edit: Ahh. Tournament Packs. Yeah, I have those as well. Add that to it + TP2 Morphing Jar.

what is you-gee-ow

Never seriously played to start with. In high school one of the people who was into it tried to get me playing by giving me an entire pre-made deck with 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon cards in it, apparently that was good. Played one or two matches but the game failed to capture my interest like MtG did and eventually people stopped bugging me to play as the fad faded. I still have his pre-made deck to this day, he never asked for it back and when I did ask about it later on he didn't really care what I did with them.

Quit after High School. Nobody to play with. I hate the new cards too. 3rd gen YuGiOh cards with all of those LOLsynchro cards made me quit, actually. My 2 trump cards were literally:

1) Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End
2) Limited-edition Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon -> Blue Eyes Shining Dragon

I had a dragon-deck though, with a small mix of other classes, etc. Forgot what other cards I used, but LOLdragonjar wasn't effective against this deck. Dragon Jar was pretty useless in the actual card game, unlike as seen in the anime. I also have the 3 Egyptian God cards (Chinese cards and in English), but I never used them in tournaments, unless I'm doing a random friendly match, then I'll pull those out. -shrug-

Chaos Emperor Dragon's effects works well in conjunction with Blue Eyes Shining Dragon if used properly.
ex: Once you summon CED, if you use his effect, all cards from your + opponent's hands as well as cards on field goes in graveyard. But by using BESD's effect, it negates it IF it designates BESD, so it doesn't affect BESD. Which means everything else goes in graveyard, damage is inflicted to opponent, and BESD gets stronger for every Dragon-type card in graveyard. +300 per dragon. 3 BEWD, 1 BEUD is about +1200 to 3000, total is 4,200 attack. That's not including any other dragons you might have in your graveyard. It also negates any effect, traps, or magic cards that targets it.

CED is also a dragon. +1500, the same attk points as BEUD.

Also, link for BESD fixed.

edit: and yes i'm aware the followign statement is redundant since you said you quit
~~~Ah for when we played in schools and no-one really understood the rules. Easy enough to understand how that happens when the rulebook is longer than the lord of the rings books combined...
CEDs effect doesn't designate BESD as a target, hitting everything =/= targeting. targeting was when either player chooses cards to be affected, (sweeping affects that affect everything, are not targeting like rageki, chaos emperor dragon, lightning vortex, so on, neither are cards where the player doesn't choose the card affected, and is instead designated by the cards actual effect, like smashing ground, fissure, so on).
Oh, and I stopped playing, sometime around...2006/7? kept judging tournaments until the end of 2008 give or take, then stopped having anything to do with it completely
If you're right, which you probably are... then most people I played against didn't notice that then, lol? Even if so, just summon BESD 'last' after CED uses it's effect. Either way, same results, it's just prolonged.
I have all my cards in a box with exception of my deck. I spent forever picking it out.
I would have loved to play, but everyone just gets way too crazy with combos and all this new crap. Half the decks in the world are designed to win in nearly 5 turns now.
