Would anyone like a cat?

Thanks to the neglect of my sister's ex-boyfriend, my family is currently taking care of a cat we have no room for. By "family", I mean he's sleeping in my grandparents' attic.

I want to find this cat a good home. My sister should really be the one doing this; however, she's notoriously unreliable. I'm willing to pay to spay him, though it's very sad that neither my sister nor her ex-boyfriend ever bothered to. He came to us malnourished and shaky, and has since then improved.

His name is Dingo, and he's about two-and-a-half years of age. He's tabby in coat, and his form (most notably his ears) hints largely at the genetics of a Maine Coon, although he's very small (no larger than the average British Shorthair). He's playful by nature and warms up easily to strangers. He's great around children, as well as other cats (though his eagerness to play may very well annoy a select few). His fur is very soft to the touch. He is not declawed.

If it makes a difference, I took in his younger brother, Grendel, a year ago, and he has since become as much a part of my family as any furry little person would ever be.

Why are cats such smug looking creatures?
I mean it in a cute way. I fucking love smug looks, really.

Right now my family is taking care of a local stray cat, but I'm not sure why the hell they don't just take the initiative to get it cleaned and vaccinated as a house pet already. They just leave catfood and water for it every morning in front of our hose. It's come to the point where the cat is always in front of our house, and cuddles against our legs when we leave.

Oh well. Considering we have 2 dogs, a cat, and two birds, I guess my family just doesn't want to take in any more pets.
