KMS oblivion 4 - Kabanaw - 2010-01-23
When the update to make oblivion mobs came out a few weeks ago, there was an argument over whether or not oblivion 4 would be overrun by I/L AMs. Has this been the case?

Other than Phail (Steve), I don't think anyone in KMS is actually active and a high enough level to even find out. =/ Unless you can manage to find some Koreans that play the game, who also speak English, I don't think we'll know this until it hits another version.

We can ask ourselves how often we see bishops actively training at Oblivion 4. If there's even a few of them at any given time, I/Ls would probably be running rampant when the updates come.
(for the record I know of one bishop that goes there regularly.)

I don't see why this is an issue, unless I/Ls all happen to be jerks and take maps from people, which isn't usually the case. They'll just be another class that can train there. High-leveled people who train there now usually don't ks out lower-leveled people. Besides, the slowness of blizzard makes it difficult to ks anyways, especially with the warps on the map.

I know of a Lvl 200 I/L AM in Bellocan that said that he will go there and hunt time pieces, because it's way more fun than leeching to make money.

I don't know about the more populated servers, but in Khaini there's usually maps open in Ob4. This is no longer true when some sort of 2x event happens, but that's kinda beside the point. The usual classes I see in Ob4 are Heroes, LOLPALLIES, and a few Shadowers, Night Lords, Bishops, Buccaneers, and even less of the other ult spammers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but usually where ult spammers thrive, there tends to be more traffic. A LOT more traffic. I'd like to be able to walk into Ob4 with little to no interference, and not have to deal with not being able to find a map to train in. If I/Ls do find Ob4 to be to their liking, then the chances of me being able to randomly walk into Ob4 and start grinding at will becomes very very low.

They don't have to be KSers to make the map unusable for lower level people. Sheer numbers alone could do it, it doesn't matter if I can keep the map if none are free in the first place.
I've only seen Warriors, Shadowers and F/P Mages (misting) at OB4 so far. I stopped trying to find empty channels during 2x events because it won't happen. Too many Heroes on Bera.
