Glitching in APQ - byakugan - 2010-01-19
Last night I went with some friends to Amoria to do the APQ. I was leading, so once we all were ready, I started. The moment I got into stage one, I rushed to glitch the stage and so it happened, but then one of the party members started telling me by party chat that it was wrong to do that, that we could be banned for that and that saving 1 minute was not worth the risk. I know he was perfectly right, however, glitching stage 1 of APQ has become so common nowadays that I can't tell any more if it's indeed wrong. Most leaders (if not every one) know how to do it and even the party members ask for it. It can be said, that's become part of the procedure to clear APQ..
So, what do you guys think? do you think it is wrong, good or doesn't matter?
Please don't turn this into a general issue asking about other glitches or if glitching is good.

It is generally wrong by the ToS, and of course you'll be seeing lots of people doing it because you're in the place where APQers go. It's just like when people wanted to smuggle tickets in the other PQs because it was supposedly fast.

Lol? Oh you're so hard because you played back in the day! Seriously, it's no big deal, I don't care if my leader does it or not, it saves time seeing as I usually end up being harped at by my parents when I want to pq.

I honestly couldn't care less. If I can finish APQ sooner, then that's great. And, I played back in the day too.

Of course I'm pineappleing hard because I played back in the day. And of course it's not a big deal deal, I was giving my opinion, mainly "I, Xiyuuna, think that glitching APQ is another pathetic ruse of new gen players that makes the game rather laughable at times" . Anything else you want to say kid just take it up in private chat. Otherwise...yes I think it's pathetic and yes it's against the TOS and yes people will do it anyways. And time as an excuse is makes me "lol" thus why if you don't have time to play then perhaps you shouldn't play at all and your parents won't yell at you because obviously there must be something more important that you should be doing other than maple story that won't make your parents yell at you.

All you can get from glitching stage 1 of APQ is saving time (1 min or so) not more apples or scrolls. You can do APQ every 6 hours, (not like regular PQ's) so its not like it helps you do more PQ's per hour.

If you're talking about CH 1 Amo's training ground, even when I i APQ with friends they usually also glitch. It's just got so common that most ppl finds it normal/doesn't care.

Meh I don't mind, I try to glitch when I'm leader. It really helps when either the male side or female side have a single low level person killing all the monsters.
Many times I'm in a party where there are 5 guys and 1 girl and the girl is usually a lvl 40 cleric or something, so glitching definitely helps save the efforts of the girl, especially when they can't one hit kill the fierry and end up getting stunned every 5 sec. =]

Anyways, I already stated my opinion on APQ Glitching, which is the same opinion I have for any new or old glitching that players have had or developed, it's pathetic because I think it is. If the game doesn't get completely owned by these hackers I can just see there being little or no fun/effort into playing the game just more and more shortcuts.

The glitch isn't really that big of a deal to me, if my leader does it I just slow down in stage 1 and wait for like 1 or 2 minutes.

its the people bitching about the little things like this that make playing maple unenjoyable, not the ones abusing a glitch to save 1 minute in a pq.

Glitching OPQ was common-place too. Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's okay.

I honestly can't care any less. Spending the time setting up an APQ takes much more time than glitching stage 1 or not could save/waste. I see no reason to do it, though, it makes you look like you're rushing towards a silly cause with all your might.

I used to glitch it all the time. Hell, glitching Stage 1 was one of the only exciting parts of APQing after hundreds upon hundreds of runs. "OH SH'IT OH SHI'T IS THE MIDDLE PORTAL GONNA BE THE ONE THIS TIME?"
Stage 1 is a useless, annoying stage. It's especially annoying if there's only one female/male. I could care less about the ToS in regards to this.
