What is Chronica Soperia?
We'll, first off, Soperia it's just fancy for Southperry.
Second, if anyone remembers Pineapple Town, this is basically it's reincarnation. Soperia is an MMO(Not what you think) in which you grind endlessly for no reason. No. I'm not lying. Quests aren't available with the engine I have, so that requires scripting, which I'm not up for right now. Maybe in the future.
Anyway, other than 'grinding (non-existent)' Soperia is based around... getting to Lvl 300 and getting on with your life... however, the problem with that is the game's horrible limitedness. You see like any MMO, this game is going to have patches to release content. The beginning content will be.... pretty bland. As time goes on, it may become more interesting.
Now, the grind... well, there isn't really one, besides hitting monsters, there is a -relative- abundance of 2x Exp Rings and a VERY low Exp formula.. meaning, lvling to say... 30 would take at most an hour.
Soperia is about nothing. There is a VERY basic town in the center, with 4 dungeons around, however, me not liking time-consuming projects, only a very small part of one will be available at game release.
Soperia has some of the ugliest graphics you've ever seen, at least, for this day and age. This is an overhead/birds-eye-view 2-D MMORPG, and the UI is quite ugliesh, but, if you don't mind 'bad' 2-D graphics, lack of quests, and a game so short at times that it requires no real commitment, THIS IS FOR YOU.

Super Basic Armor and Items
Two Classes
Town
Chincha Dungeon with 3 floors
Monsters mainly called Slime and InsertAdjective Slime
Other stuff you shouldn't care about.
See that massive explosion of content, did I mention that this game requires no commitment other than to level and maybe chat with ugliest bubbles youve seen. It is EXTREMELY easy to level.
Other than that, this game, which has nothing to offer, comes with Southperry Crude Humor and References, mainly references. (e.g. Chicnha is just Chinchilla without the ill)
Why is this game so craptastic and small? Because I can't work on big projects, so I've decided to start small and work up.
I'll 'blog' about, more or less use a blog as updates for the game.
Current release date is Jan 23rd, it may be earlier, it may be later, but I'm sure your not excited in any way, shape, or form.

I heard you're restricted in the enviroment, needing to spend tons of in game money for travel, and being restricted from entering certain areas. The AI can be pretty stupid at times, and you can't even pick what character you want to be. Once you're assigned a character, you're stuck with it.

nah youre just assigned an archetype. either youre fast, strong, smart, spiritual, or useless. from there theres tons of sub-divisions, and plenty of variety in those, but each player has a built-in-at-creation stat distribution upon level ups, so youre inhibited only by what youre good at. trying to work in a class where youre not best suited wont entirely cripple you, nor will you be too heavily penalized, but after some time people may think youre a nub who cant even do their own job.
