~*At the moment Sanctum is looking for high-level characters who want to Zakum. We need characters over level 100 in order to start doing Guild-only Zakum runs. If this is something that interests you, please read on. Although we are always accepting mature individuals, so even if you aren't level 100, apply if you want to be in a group full of great people.*~
Established in 2005, we are a gaming clan with an official presence in MapleStory, , Diablo 2 (and most certainly 3 when it's released), and Metin2. Some of our members are also active in, Combat Arms, S4 League, and others.
We do not seek to be the biggest guild, or the most powerful, but to gather players who are mature, responsible, intelligent, and fun! Most of our members are over 16, and many are adults with families. We understand the need for balance between online and offline activities, so if you would like to join a comfortable group with a variety of interests above and beyond Maple, please consider us.
Other things you might like about our clan:
* We have our own web site, with a large and active forum for communication about our in-game activities, and many other topics.
* We have a Ventrilo server, for communication both in and out of our games. Bossing, questing, or just chatting, it all happens there!
* We do not accept just anyone. Prospective members will sign up for our web forum, introduce themselves, and then be accepted into our in-game guilds once they have shown their quality. You dont need to be active on the forums constantly but activity in-game is necessary.
* We host fun in-game events such as Zakum, Guild PQ and other activities.
* Hacking or any Abuse of the Terms of Service will not be tolerated. If either you promote/use anything stated you will be given an immediate expulsion from the guild no questions asked.
More about us
All of our members are mature when they need to be and fun to be around. That goes for all of the games we have a presence in, not just MapleStory. Above all else though, being in Sanctum means you are a trustworthy, kind person. And please, being mature doesn't mean being an elitist jerk. It means having fun but not at the expense of others, being responsible, and being nice to whomever you meet.
How to join!
Please visit the Clan GIS web site(http://www.clangis.com/forums) and click "Join Us." Read what is there and then click the link to Register an Account. After registering you can interact with other members, and if we deem you worthy, you will become a Brethren and be in the clan.
If this sounds elitist, it is because we want the best people. Acceptance of new members is not based on rank or wealth, but on what kind of a person you are.
Requirements:
Yes, we do have a few small things we ask of any applicants.
1. Be honest and responsible.
2. Be legitimate. Non-ranked characters will not be added to our guild for any reason.
3. Be able to communicate clearly and intelligently. Some shortcuts are tolerated in-game, but on our forum we do not have posts like "ne1 noe y i cabnt get on ms nao???"
4. Be active. You don't have play every day, but you should play often, signing up for Guild events is a good way to stay active as well.
5. Be at least level 35. However, you may still join our forum below this level, and then join the guild at 35.
