James Owen Sullivan, drummer of Avenged Sevenfold (AX7) was found dead at age 28.
Natural causes? At 28 years old? I know it can happen, but it's very rare that it happens. It had to be the cocaine that he used to do.
Sucks though, he was good at writing music.

My husband is a huge Avenged Sevenfold fan, and yesterday was his birthday. I showed him the link.

I too suspect that drugs/alcohol was largely responsible for his death, but so far I haven't heard anything besides "natural causes." Meh. Also, is it just me or is 2009 a horrible year for celebrity deaths? Maybe it's just the media playing it up, but it seems that an unusual number of celebrities have died this year.

Well... lots of heavy drugs / medicine damages and weakens your body beyond all repair...
If your heart stops beating because it's mussels are damaged because of this, then you -do- die from a natural cause... a heart-attack.
People only speak of (unnatural) death by drugs if you die from an overdose.
