In the Masteria patch you got hints of the CWK story, and Black mage was first spoken of in Magatia, so CWK wins. If you mean the actual Crimsonwood patch, Magatia came before that.

I think Tikey meant in the actual story line of MapleStory.
So, which came first: The Battle with the Black Mage or the CWK Story.

So CWK came first, then the Black Mage defeated them, and then the Arans fought him.[/COLOR]

No, the one in CWK is "The Alchemist". They may be one and the same, but most likely "The Alchemist" is the Black Mage's disciple.
