Mortal Blow activation range increased? - TamilTiger1 - 2009-12-15 According to the V0.80 extraction thread, bow whacking distance is suppose to be reduced. Fiel Wrote:Before: When doing that did they increase the Mortal Blow activation range? After the last patch mortal blow keeps activating from Hurricane a lot more often when zak summons get close. I go to zak quite often so I can notice the difference quite easily there, but havn't seen how it affects training yet. Before the last patch I rarely get interrupted by zak summons, I can continue to fire Hurricane until they're at about touch distance. But now it starts activating even when the summons are quite far away. It looked like the vertical range got increased by a lot. You can notice that if you go there with a NL, they will be able to use TT even after BM's Mortal Blow starts activating. Before the patch NLs would start punching before my Mortal Blow starts activating. Anyone else notice this or is it because of the lag we've been experiencing lately? Its getting really annoying at zak when doing a duo without any mob controllers
Mortal Blow activation range increased? - Shidoshi - 2009-12-15 The NL/BM comparation is flawed. There is always a slight delay between clients so you can't judge from what you see on screen. Also, with multiple characters on the same map with different framerates/lag monsters get a little wacky. The best way to test this would be with immobile monsters and using varying ammounts of jump to get to the vertical range. Also, do this while alone in the map for more trustable results. I noticed a decrease in range for wacking today at windraiders, though nothing confirmed, it seemed they needed to be closer for me to wack them. |
