So it no longer takes 30mins-1hr to level from 1-10 as maple island is just a one way map! Why couldn't they do this when i made rep mules Tongue

How the heck did you take 30 minutes to 1 hour to get through the old map? It took me from 10-15 minutes. o_o

GMS has had auto assigned beginner AP for a while. Plus you can just spam Three Snails.

Out with the old, in with the new! - MaplesGrandGM - 2009-12-11

That no snail shell requirement, Three Snails, is also as new as the no dice stats assignment; and the auto beginner stat assignment is only a couple months old at the most, not exactly sure how old though.

So yeah, maple island has gone in stages, now obviously being much easier and faster than when some of the veterans had to run through there lol.

I hate the new Maple Island honestly.

Honestly, I'm not liking this stupid new "bumrush-your-way-to-level-30" approach done by new Adventurer trainer/Cygnus trainer/Aran trainer style and new godly training spots for low levels; and especially this. For one, I found my first time exploring this game as a nice adventure, and training my way to thirty back when I first joined took a few months; but I guess this is done to get people to the more "exciting" content.

This is actually kind of sad, even.

I second this.

All they are doing is rushing you to zero content. After lv 70 there's hardly any quests and nothing to do except grind and do a few bosses(if you have hp washed enough to survive that is).Goggleemoticon

You never disappoint. Good to have you around.

I'm not going to complain. Makes it easier for me to make mules.

Thanks. I do my best to tell it how it is.

yea then why u still play???

Imo all complainers are hypocrites, i mean if you hate the game so much why not quit instead of ur complaining

Out with the old, in with the new! - Greg - 2009-12-12

How can anyone complain? The lower levels are by far the most boring and annoying. Good to see that you can now get them out of the way nearly twice as fast.

My beginner went from 1~3% an hour to < 0.5. I has right to complain.

Inb4 Islanders are a waste of time.

That's all they say. To prepare users for future high level content. That they never bring out. You're lucky if you get 1 thing a year.

Out with the old, in with the new! - Alex123123 - 2009-12-12

Eh, I like the new changes to the game, specially the bunch of new quests and stuff. The leveling pace I've experienced now from level 1-30 is nice. Casual and gets you hooked to the game. Not to mention, the medals are a pretty nice addition that should motivate some newbies to go around collecting them when they are bored of grinding. (PS: Too bad there's no button to get rid of maple a-holes, or at least mute them...)

But imo, this is how it should have been, 4 (5?) years ago (minus PQs). I mean, seriously. Back then, it took an eternity to level to 30. I'm talking about not using skills, afk-ing to recover health, and if you were a magician, you were screwed, b/c, you couldn't do crap without mp. Train for 5 seconds, AFK for hours. Now it's a bit easier to get past the waytoopoorandweaktomakemesoandbuypots levels, the training areas and new quests helps a lot.

Hopefully this new trend does not ends on low level content. I'm not asking for zomgeasylvl200 content, but enough to motivate a casual player to keep playing after reaching lvl 70. Like... help me reach level 80 (when at last the efforts of 1-70 can be seen), and I'll do the rest... at least until level 120. xd
