Jung Typeology Test - Russt - 2009-12-08

Somehow IRC got to discussing this and comparing types so I figured I'd post a thread on it.

Test:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes1.htm

Type info:
http://www.purdue.edu/usp/pdfs/mbtiresources/INTJ.pdf
(replace INTJ with whatever yours is)

Yeah. I'm too lazy to actually take the test so I dunno my own result. I wonder what that says about my personality.

Jung Typeology Test - Corn - 2009-12-08

INTJ, and so is half of the IRC, lol. Figures, since we're all introverted geeks coming onto IRC to collaborate...even though we're supposedly 1% of the world's population.

I'm like 80% I, and 25% each of N, T, and J....something like that.

It only takes 1-2 minutes to fill out the quiz.

Taken this before, but I did it again anyway.

I like how completely false most of the description is in relation to me.

 Spoiler

Yeah, what the hell? Just about 90% or more of that is absolutely nothing like me. Even in the most general sense I'm having trouble agreeing with this. I must have picked different answers this time. I remember it being more accurate before.

"By Joe Butt"

I lol'd a LOT harder than I should have...

I'm, based on this test, INTP. Half of the questions were "wtp is it asking...?" or "How would i know?", so I won't rely on it too heavily.

http://www.purdue.edu/usp/pdfs/mbtiresources/INTP.pdf

Edit:

Joe Butt Wrote:Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.

Mr Butt here just called me an OCD Grammar Nazi, didn't he....

Your Type is
ESTJ

Wow this is crazy good
ESTJ’s are very much in touch with the external environment. They know their community and usually
are pillars of strength. The best adjective to describe ESTJs would be responsible. They represent about
13 percent of the general population.
ESTJs are outstanding at organizing orderly procedures and in detailing rules and regulations. They like
to see things done correctly. They tend to be impatient with those who do not carry out procedures with
sufficient attention to those details, prescribed by those with the most experience, that will get the job
done right.
ESTJs are comfortable in evaluating others and tend to judge how a person is doing in terms of standard
operating procedures. They may, at times, be abrupt with those who do not follow rules correctly.
ESTJs are realistic, matter-of-fact, and more curious about new devices and processes than about new
principles and theories.

Rational Portrait of the Mastermind (INTJ)

All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be.

Introverted: 78
Intuitive: 12
Thinking: 75
Judging: 67

$10 says Eos, Isaac and Cyanne are INTJ, too.

Jung Typeology Test - Corn - 2009-12-09

"ESTPs are ruthless pragmatists and often offer the ends as justification for whatever
means they see as necessary – regrettable, perhaps, but necessary. Usually, however, ESTPs do not care
to justify actions, but prefer instead to get on to the next action."

...I can see that.

To sum it all up in that long thing about my result...

I like to entertain people
I like to help people
I make sure everyone is happy
I constantly have to be told by people that I'm worth something so that I can feel like I actually am worth something
Obedient to rules and laws
Good working with people
Friendly with all types of people, and have hardly any enemies

And that's all that seems worthwhile for me to explain. Pretty much nails me to a T.

I'm apparently INFJ.

Parts of it are accurate and parts aren't. The parts that are are downright eerily correct though.
