Hello, I'll try to write this in a polite maner but I'm furious, I just logged onto my characters not five minutes before posting this thread and I see he's missing ALL his mesos but 1, just 1 in the inventory and the other char on the account has the same amount of mesos he had ( 200k ), Now this account was my new account AFTER getting hacked by a key logger, I nuked any spyware on my computer for sure and in case I'm going to scan again in a few minutes, The weird thing is, I'm not missing all my vaulable items, just specific ones, those being : 200 refined black crystals , 300 refined diamonds, a red bath towel + 2 30%, 7 slots left. and a few other items whitch I can't think of at the moment.
The weird thing is, items like my bosshunter gi and 3 sky skis and still there, but my maple bandanas arn't. this is extremeley frustrating, No one had this accounts info since it was newly made. and I didn't use a pin/pw from a former account.
I just only made alittle while ago 130m and got back on my feet, now I'm back where I started and we're only a day away from aran, I'm frustrated beyond belief . All I want to do is just play the game without having some random person take my stuff. I don't even merchant. I'm just trying to make enogh money for accuracy equips.

That is weird on multiple levels. Maybe you should try getting on a safe computer to transfer all the stuff to a safe account while you fix whatever needs fixing.

I mean, is it too much to ask to just get some decent equips and just play without getting hacked. I'm not even going for "godly" equips or anything or dexless, Just good enogh so that leveling isn't super slow.

Maybe that someone was interested only in some of your stuff - Do you have any family memeber that plays Maple also? I suggeset you checking up with them. If not, then I don't know. Transfer your valueable stuff, change your account info.

Sounds as if you were Keylogged.
My suggestion is format your PC and install every thing once again. It may be tedious but it's the best way to be secure.

Maybe he left the items on your account so you'd have something to start again, in hopes that he could hack you again in the future. The person who hacked me last week left my clean facestompers and MH30. He was either really stupid or left them there, so I'd start up again, and hack me again in the future.

Oh pomegranate! this happened to me too! Damn, I thought it was only me- didn't bother making a thread cause it was my problem... =x.
Anyways, just try the best you can you know? being an Aran shouldn't really be your top priority if you just got semi-hacked. Change your p/w and pin, pray to God it's just a fk up and that it never happens again...

actually this thing happened to me, i had ~200-250m on my NL, and i log in to see him have 0 mesos, a 8int raggedy cape missing, and a 108 eclipse. I log into my bucc's account and everything is still there, and i checked the other characters on the same account as the NL, and their controls have been changed around but they still have the like 3m i left on them. Left on the account were 66 processed BCs, a heavenly messanger, and 5 bottom dex 60%s, i thought it was someone hacked me but just wasnt thorough and only had my NL's account info.

I remember this happened to me about 2 years ago. I log in one day to find my FP with no mesos and my 9/15 earrings gone. All my other characters on the account had their stuff.

Thanks guys!,a REALLY good friend of mine, took me to pap on my dk to get the peices to make 2 bosshunter gi's ( since I had the ancient gi/book ) ,so hopefully selling those I can get the money I need and make a new account on a formatted comp, and as for the aran thing, its the reason I came back to ms , its a job I've been waiting for, polearms + mobility + different development than regular characters.

The same happened to me. I logged in today and found all my stuff missing. Except in my case, my paladin and f/p were stripped to almost nothing. The only things not stolen were a few untradeables (unfortunately, my zhelm and cwk pendant were gone, but my clean lunchbox is still there). I'm really not sure when it happened because I haven't been on MS since the past Thursday or Friday. (I might have logged in for a brief moment on Sunday before sc, I don't remember.) Sigh...
Oh, I did try to log in yesterday around 1:30pm PST, after the server maintenance. But when I logged in I was stuck on the screen right after the pin input window, and just closed down MS because I thought it was just a huge lag like everyone was saying. Maybe it was during that time... =_=;
EDIT: I'm pretty sure it was some sort of keylogging or hack, because my key settings were changed a lot. I can tell that someone was playing on my character before taking everything because a) it wasn't default key settings, and b) I have the weirdest key settings to suit my taste, and the hacker completely changed it.

Probably a really good keylogger, if it managed to sneak past your antivirus software. I dunno what to say, since you can't really eliminate that keylogger...

Your case is someone actually hacking your account I guess. What's different from the cases in the topic is that the items taken were really inconsistant; only taking certain items on certain characters and leaving the rest alone. Not enough was really taken to devastate the player.

2 of my guildies also report this, one had her mule account cleared of everything on equips, but nothing in the other categories. The other just said his entire main char was cleared out, he did not specify what that meant though. Neither of those persons shared their accounts, and it happened this week for both.
I'm not saying its a glitch or exploit and that they are not to blame themselves, but it IS a possibility, so be careful.

I posted awhile back when I got keylogged. I can't remember that I used, but I would suggest that you really look into the situation. I found the virus and the software got rid of it, then I installed another piece of software and it found one more trojan that the first one didn't find.
I also had the same experience you had. They didn't take everything. Just the mesos and some equips. What is weird is they didn't even talk the most valuable stuff, I am not sure how they decided what to take. I got 4 accounts haxxed. The only char that really took a beating was my lvl 51 fighter. I had twenty or so Maple Soul Rohens and they all got lifted, also lifted all the low dex armor it was wearing. In fact, all it had left was its blue underwear and fruit knife. Fortunately when I got hacked most of my valuables were on my NL, and I had happened to have been logged in afk for several hours so they didn't get that stuff. I moved all the stars and other valuables off the NL (thinking it was a friend) and a bit later the NL got hacked of what valuables were left. That is when I found the trojan and eliminated it.

Yeahh same thing happened to me on December 2nd [that's 6 days ago] during a Server Maintenance.. My mesos went down to 1, the hacker dropped the chairs, zhelms, MONs and some other untradeables along with my stuff.. but only certain stuff. O_o they left my USE inventory intact for example. It's weird.. none else knew my info. Guess it's a potent keylogger or a new dangerous hack >_>

The same thing happened to 3 of my friends, their use invo's were left in tact but they lost all of their chairs and set up items and in these cases their nx and meso's were reduced to 1. But only certain items were gone. I had a feeling it was either a nexon glitch or a hack.
