Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - MetaSeraphim - 2009-12-04 Even though this was mostly a filler patch before Aran I still like to see different opinions on how the patch was. I didn't actually enjoy, but I didn't hate it either. It was mostly meh for me. Though I did like the event quests even though there wasn't much to them. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - 2147483647 - 2009-12-04 The stupid artifact hunt is so annoying. A message every time I picked up an "artifact" without having the permit in my inventory. And they dropped all over the damned place. The glasses aren't even permanent. They're just for the people who grind 24/7 on 2x drop all the time. The turkeys have destroyed the mini-dungeons, and for the majority of this patch, CWKPQ wasn't working and the Gacha wasn't spitting out 100% scrolls like Nexon had promised. Also, the belts have greatly deflated since that event ended. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - KarStealer - 2009-12-04 F'ucking turkeys. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Jedward - 2009-12-04 Voting for 'meh' because I wasn't on for most of it, though I'd probably have gone lower. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Smooth Criminal - 2009-12-04 What I have to say about ANYTHING about related to this patch: In my honest opinion, there is just plain nothing good at ALL that came out of plastering Turkeys all over mini dungeons. Why the hell Nexon didn't settle with giving turkeys their own mini dungeon (like cakes with the recent Anniversary) for people who actually want to hunt these things that no one likes is beyond me. They're happy, and people who want to train should be happy. This is just plain stupid and inexcusable that training spots have been wrecked by monsters nobody wanted to see in the first place; and I think they should be isolated off to their own mini dungeon so that these things aren't bothering anyone; not ruining existing mini dungeons that have solved map problems. Maple has been essentially returned to pre-mini dungeon state: Jr. Newtie maps are near impossible to find, and other popular mini dungeons like the Roids one are wrecked, leading people to have to attempt to scavenge or KS for maps. I had a hard time being able to enjoy the 2X EXP events for a majority of the time due to these crappy map problems. What content was there for me to enjoy, again? The Event Quest count that came from pre-Aran release quests? Actually, yeah. I liked those and this year's Turkey Eye quest as a nice quest booster and nothing more. Black Friday, I wouldn't count that as content; but if it does, yeah, I loved the Gacha sale; but for those who missed out on it due to Nexon's incompetence with this stupid "-1" quantity stuff, I feel horrible for those people. I found the Sheep and Wolf event pretty fun and cool, for an event PQ with 0 reward. Still, nothing compensates for friggin' TURKEYS, and that's all I'll remember this horrible filler patch for. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Punch - 2009-12-04 I honestly didn't even notice the damn patch.. Played Maple normally.. avoiding turkeys of corpse~ Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Corn - 2009-12-04 I didn't even play the game during this patch =/. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - DoctorShanks - 2009-12-05 -Stares at Avatar- F'ucking Turkeys... 12/09/2009 can't come any sooner can it?
Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - FelixTM - 2009-12-05 It got me to log in and play for a few days. More questing is always appreciated. I raged over being unable to do ANY of the new Adventurer-only quests, though. Stupid Nexon. I hate being excluded from quests just because my character was made in '05. I guess because I enjoyed the quests I was able to do I'll say I enjoyed the patch. December will be more fun. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Jon - 2009-12-05 Infection Wrote:Voting for 'meh' because I wasn't on for most of it. It wasn't a bad patch but it was mainly filler before the December patch. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Bribery - 2009-12-05 I hated it. Those stupid Turkeys made Leafre into the pre-mini dungeon KS war days again with Mages and Bishops hogging Newties and Skeles. And then Nexon had the audacity to hold 2x events with the mini dungeons being utter crap.
Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Kevo - 2009-12-05 I enjoyed the Golden Pigs event. Really helped me level at Time Temple. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Hotshot - 2009-12-05 Nothing that was added this patch was actually good for anything. Arch event was a spamfest. Turkeys in my MDs made them slower. And I half-miss the dark tokens and definetely miss the witch's brews. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Herbert Jablonski - 2009-12-05 Episode 1 and the other new low level quests were okay. Everything else was rather meh. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - finalbragade - 2009-12-05 Sa-right... Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Spideyjvc - 2009-12-05 Turkeys. Screw them. Seriously. There was no reason for them to be in mini dungeons. I've no idea why they would even think it would be a good idea to include them in the dungeons. Finding Newties maps have been a pain in the royal bum, especially when mages feel like coming into the map during 2x exp to leech some charavter, and then ignore you completely when you try to address them to inform them that you've been training in the map since before 2x exp. They give no response, some of them aren't even playing are are obviously botting. The freaking light bulb over my head 24/7 is annoying as hell. NO GAGA, I DON'T CARE ABOUT COLLECTING THE CRAP DROPPED BY THE MONSTERS, LEAVE ME ALONE. I'M NOT GOING TO COLLECT STUFF STUFF FOR YOU, DO IT YOURSELF YOU FREAKING PRICK. That event should have been made that you sign up for the artifact hunt, and only then will you get constant event naggings. Or, maybe make it so that when you click the light bulb it gives you a "Sure, I'll participate" or "Fuck off, Gaga" option. Picking the later would drop you from the hunt. If it weren't for those two alone, I wouldn't care. I don't care much if a patch doesn't add anything for me. What I do care about is when a patch affects me in a negative manner, such as this one did. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Takebacker - 2009-12-05 I have nothing good to say about the patch. Turkeys suck ass. Monsters dropping s'hit i don't give a s'hit about (gaga's f'ucking rocks, piss off). Nothing that benefits me stat or fun wise. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - MoldyBunny - 2009-12-05 I actually had to go back and look at the patch notes to remember what was in the patch. After looking back I see a couple things that sounded interesting pre-patch... though they quickly disappointed. Sheep vs Wolf - vine "glitch" (no matter what you think of it, it made the game very boring). Episode 1 - no 8 slot gloves, helms nerfed before they were released, and the weapons are relatively rare. It's actually not that bad but after the heightened expectations it's a bit of a let down. It provides a nice alternative to HPQ and training for low level beginners, but that doesn't really effect a large section of the mapling community, including me. Turkeys... I don't expect much from holiday events, but I think the least they could do is make it so that the events don't make the game worse. Artifact Hunt. Hated the implementation, It had the ability to be a fun event but I feel that the implementation made it more annoying that fun. If you don't have an artifact permit your chat window spammed, and even if you do have a permit you can't let your etc get full or it spams you with more messages. It was a minor patch for holiday events few people care about. I didn't expect it to live up to the quality of a regular patch ( which half the time isn't too good anyway) but a patch that reduces the playability of the game is just pathetic... fucking turkeys Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Dusk - 2009-12-05 The only thing that really bothered me was the Artifact event. I'm glad that the gloves never came out and that the helms were nerfed. And what turkeys? O4 ftw. Even when I did train at Skeles for a little bit the turkeys didn't make a huge impact on my training speed. And even then, the Artifact medal = pretty nice stats for my nub characters. Did you enjoy this patch? (Ver. 79) - Bountyan - 2009-12-05 Hell naw. Turkeys in the Newties dungeon made my EXP during 2x suffer because I kept getting KS'd by stupid ultimate abusing Mages. Artifact event was just annoying with the spam and useless etc drops. Episode 1 is pretty cool though, I enjoyed doing the quests on my Archer and I might make a Mage/Bandit to do the quests again for the hat. |
