Use maker. Better stats, cheaper, easier. You can't loose.
In fact, if you do not have maker skills done, whisper me and you can give me the materials needed and I'll make em on my T breaker.

Recipe:
7 Red powder
14 Basic monster crystal type 3
63 k mesos
Optional:
1 overall stimulator (10% fail rate of the whole making procedure, but guarantees avg or better results)
1 gem of your choice. Since you are a marauder I would recommend a graded STR crystal based on your fundings.
The total maker cost increase slightly when adding stims/gems.
