Problems since last patch~ish time - bored4ever86 - 2009-11-18

Heres the problems:
Randomly my laptop will lose focus on a window (IE usually) and set focus to the desktop. This also happens in maple, (full screen mode as i get a display driver stopped working when i use windowed mode [only started getting this recently i may add]) the game minimizes, and I have to wait for the desktop to refresh to click maplestory in the task bar to begin playing again. I am also getting random lag spikes (used to get none, unless i go into fm1). I recently updated from avg free v8 to avg free v9 and we had that last patch in maple. Those are the only 2 things i can think of that may of caused the recent problems.

Things I've tried in fixing this problem:
I searched and found tweakui.exe (microsoft powertoys program to tweak the registry without manual edits) and used it to turn on the option to stop programs from stealing the focus from the currently active window.
I ran ccleaner to see if it was a registry hangup or something random like that and no dice.

I tried lookign through the other "laggy maple" threads and tried changing the vsync, couldn't find anything related to vsync in the graphics properties but i doubt it'll be possible as its a laptop. Good thing i plan to replace this thing soon...
