Crossbows and Gobys - Tay - 2009-11-08 Ok, just wondering. >_>' What should the optimal build for a crossbowman, just hitting 3rd job, be if the said crossbowman wanted to get to Gobys asap. I would assume: 70: 1 Strafe 71: 1 Blizzard, 2 Mortal Blow 72: 3 Mortal Blow 73: 3 Arrow Eruption And from then on max AE? So it would be safe to move to Gobys are around 75? Also, if there is way to intermingle a Goby build and a Newtie build. I know that Newtie sniping will be alot faster, but I like gobys. :< Just need some opinions~ Crossbows and Gobys - chrome - 2009-11-08 11 AE, 21 AE, or max AE, then 20/21 or max Strafe if you had already maxed AE before. I was at gobies at 76 with 11 AE. Crossbows and Gobys - Doctor Omega - 2009-11-09 Yeah, what you've got for an AE build sounds nice. I don't see why that wouldn't work. Also, the Red-Nosed Pirate den is godly with AE, so you could definitely do that as well. I've known many, many Marksmen that have gone AE first and been at Pirates for a good while. The EXP is pretty amazing. Crossbows and Gobys - SixtySevenFrogs - 2009-11-09 Ben Wrote:11 AE, 21 AE, or max AE, then 20/21 or max Strafe if you had already maxed AE before. I was at gobies at 76 with 11 AE. Don't forget that they changed strafe so now at Level 1 it already does 70% damage. Back then I went with 21 AE because I wanted the max range and we needed a good strafe to take down the houses. Now you can probably get away with getting 28 AE first and then getting like 15-20 Strafe and start working on other skills from there. Going AE first also opens up a lot of good training places. Crossbows and Gobys - GoMiNam - 2009-11-10 Rather than gobys why not go for typhones? they give same exp as himes and do little dmg also you can just sit in one spot using eruption. i hear its really good never got to use them tho. Crossbows and Gobys - Kingzeh - 2009-11-30 Well they either fixed it or like some people say, you don't get auto banned when training solo. |
