I ask because I've been at Pigs for the past 4 hours and have only gotten 30 leathers. I tried Boars and Lupins, but they were worst.

I seem to recall getting a decent amount of leather at Lupins when I was training my Hunter. If not Lupins, then try Jr. Kitties?

Those rats in the left Ludibrium tower drop them quite often if I remember correctly, you might want to try that. I am aiming at the lighter ones, to make it clear.

I got quite a few leathers from samihos hunting old fox. Im not sure on the rate (ya' know? You find things you arent looking for all the time!) but I seem to recall getting them semi-often.
