What stage is MS on? - Crovis - 2009-10-22
So i just wanna know what the stage MS is on called (like Beta, Closed Beta,etc)
And could someone please explain what it means?
I just wanna know cause of this game thats on Closed Beta, with keys, just to know if its probably gonna be erased or not (cause its not worth playing a game thats gonna be erased for me right now)

MapleStory is "fully" released, in the sense that it's an open game and not in Beta.
It's an MMO, get used to it.

Closed Beta means testing only for a a group of people in the public. No one can sign up.
Open Beta means testing, but everyone can join.
It's very likely that your characters will get wiped from Beta to the official version in most games. It happened in Maplestory.
Maplestory is not in any testing stages. It's the official version.
I'll throw in Alpha, too - only people hired can test the game.
