The internet was always a toilet, and there was always a piece of pomegranate in that toilet. Nobody flushed the toilet, and the pomegranate stood in there. At first, there were just pieces of pomegranate floating around. However, because the toilet was never flushed, eventually the pieces of pomegranate slowly broke up, until the water is essentially liquid pomegranate.

That's how the internet is now. Just because some areas of the toilet water were still clear at the time doesn't mean there wasn't pomegranate in it. It's just more apparent now that the bowl is filled with murky liquid.

Lets take a look at the internet before, have you seen how a majority of sites looked like? I'll tell you, a lot of sites looked like pomegranate.

Yeah, that's just a parody, since not many of those sites are alive anymore. But that's how a ton of sites freaking looked like. And the internet was full of pomegranatety fanfics, and pomegranatety images, and pomegranatety pomegranate, and pomegranate.
