Discuss.

I raged a little. First off, KyoAni are a bunch of trolls. What was it, two/three years ago they trolled with Disappearance teasers? Then finally, in May they troll us with Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) with reruns mixed in. Then they troll us with eight episodes of (non-canonical) Endless Eight. And finally, they finish the 2009 airing with a rerun and announce a movie.

I personally don't care enough about Haruhi to rage more about their flaws, but I suppose part of this is good news since the "best" arc of the novels gets a hopefully non-QUALITY movie adaptation instead of standard KyoAni TV crap. Problem is now I have to wait another year to see it.

P.S. Thanks, filter. I love you too, ya f'aggot.

You could just rename it to Shoushiitsu. :f6:

I has to agree with this.

It would sound much less awesome if the filter didn't kick in.

No, I can't, because only moderators can rename topics.

And Shoushiitsu is not Shoushitsu.

Correct, and this movie is "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" that the fanbase was hoping to see in the 2009 new episodes. Considering there's been a bit of a three year gap, I expect high results out of this movie compared to season 1 and at least better than the watered down season 2 K-On graphics if they're putting a good amount of work behind this. Shamefully, I admit to being a fanbrat of this series; I thoroughly enjoyed season 1; and since, it's been a personal favorite of mine; though I know that it's not "teh best EVUR"- and then season 2 was mostly crappy and disappointed me most of the time.

The news made the inner fanboy in me pretty pleased; actually, rather than pissed. I wonder how long it'll take before it gets subbed over the Internet. And for those of you guys who watched the taped-in-theaters quality of Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0, can anyone tell me how decent the quality was to see what I should expect for this?

Meanwhile...
"Shoupomegranatesu". There's something pleasing about this word.

Yes, I share the same feelings you do. I was disappointed in season 2, if you can even call it that. Hell, The Meloncholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan and Nyoron Churuya-san felt more like a S2 to me than the real S2. At least those were more enjoyable.

I've already read the light novels, so it's not like I need the animations to know what happens next in the story, but I was disappointed to see that they weren't even going to do disappearance.
But getting a movie release of it is perfectly fine to me. Still not sure how I feel about this though;
