DVDs - Smooth Criminal - 2009-10-03
Are any of you here fond of buying the official DVDs?
I need some help regarding decision making: is it more worthwhile just to get all the episodes; or is it more worthwhile to go the extra mile and go get the Limited Editions with all the collectibles and/or bonuses? I usually buy the DVDs just to be able to get a better experience of a series I can enjoy time and time again; but I'm a bit of a collectible junkie except I'm a tad afraid of costs of the special editions.
I'm wondering if I made the right choice in buying just the complete collection of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya instead of the Limited edition ones; and this may help when deciding for DVDs in the future- particularly to see if its worthwhile to get the Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Complete Collection Holiday Edition and other goodies I've wanted for some time. How would you guys balance everything out to see if the Limited Edition is worth it or not?
On a side note: are any of you familiar with sites to go buy some merchandise like DVDs? Amazon is out of stock of a lot of stuff I'm hunting down; like Serial Experiments Lain Complete Collection DVDs and End of Evangelion.

I don't see much point in buying Haruhi DVDs now that the second season just aired- if it ever comes out here, the 2009 versions of the first season episodes will probably also be released.
