well ether way, windows 7 is the best OS out there currently, truste me ive been using it sence beta and im stile using the damn thing (btw maplestory runs sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooood on it... its godly Glitter

) plus at only 69$ for home and 120$ for pro i don't see a reason why NOt to get it

Because I have Vista Ultimate and I'll have to do a clean install unless I get 7 Ultimate...which is going to be 200$

actually no, its supposed to be around 160$ for ultimate, and windows 7 uses a new installation system, you don't have to do a clean install to install it, just pop in the cd, and a window will pop up and you can chose to do "upgrade". upgrade basicly keeps all your files and ONLY deletes windows, so basicly all your pomegranate will be intact... and you don't even have to do any complicated pomegranate, just click upgrade, grab a bowl of chips and injoy the show...

Pretty sure it doesn't matter what version of vista you have or what version of 7 you have, it'll upgrade even if they don't match up.

The upgrade charts from Microsoft show that you have to upgrade to the same version of 7 as whatever version of Vista you have.
