Primary school = elementary school in the US.

The PSLE is for Primary 6 (Grade 7) students graduating and moving on to secondary school. It's quite important, the school you go to kinda decides your life :f6: I did mine back in 2006.

And note that majority of SP doesn't live in Singapore. A thread like this belongs on the MSEA forums or something.

Anyway, PSLE isn't really that tough. Orals are fun to do. Remember to check, check and check your paper afterwards. Don't sleep through the rest of the time, only to score 215 like me, okay?

and its official, im stupid. i scored 198. i was proud though. i failed horribly for my prelims making my teachers worried. I was in EM2.

Will your PSLE score be higher than your prelims considering more DUMB people are added in; or
will your PSLE score be LOWER than your prelims considering more SMART people are added in?

I got 235 for prelims. E/M/S/Chi A/A*/A*/C 86.5/99/91/53.5

Unfortunately, I'm poor in Chi. You seem to be good in all subjects.

Prelims are not a gage for the real thing. Depending on the year, your prelims can be harder or easier than the actual paper, depending on the school.

I scored 25x on prelims and guess what? Too much kelly clarkson makes you drop.
I'm 15 now and makes me sad that I know I could've scored waaaaay higher for my HMT/S/M/E
I got all A's except for MT, and a failure in HMT (i couldn't bother, was forced anyway)
But dont be fooled, the a's are all low a's

You won't really feel sad when you know you're leaving Pri Sch. The real fun begins.
Result collection day is really lol because then you have to go to school again on another date to see where you get posted to (unless they made it available on website)
YOU WONT CRY UNLESS YOURE A WUSS. Really.

Secondary school is what will prepare you. Lemme put it in another way. Pri School is like queuing up to buy tickets to gain entry to a themepark. Sec School is like experiencing the rides they have. Most foundations in Pri School would not be applied in Secondary School.

Prelims are way to hard. Trust me. Your school makes the standard for the prelims higher.
