For a while now I've considered Fatboy Slim's remix of Pierre Henry's Psyche Rock the perfect song (for me). The energy, the genre mashing, the instrumentation that defies expectations, the simple awesomeness. I desire more.

And when I say similar, I don't mean "similar" exactly as the word means. Does a rap song you know have a brass section and a piano part? Wicked, I love that. Does your metal band frequently make use of epic orchestral accompaniment? Does that techno song you can't sit still through avoid being generic and laughably repetitious? You get the idea. I want stuff that defies genre expectations and makes me want to move.
